Tom Alaimo serves as the Vice President of Preconstruction at UAG, overseeing the Estimating, Purchasing, and Business Development departments. With over 15 years of experience and a background in urban planning and architecture, Tom brings extensive expertise in real estate and construction management, enhancing and diversifying the firm’s in-house client services.
Prior to assuming the role of Vice President of Preconstruction, Tom excelled as a Project Executive, leading the successful completion of prominent projects such as Ruby, a two-tower multifamily rental development in Chelsea, New York, and Powerhouse Arts, a rehabilitation and new construction art production facility in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Before joining UAG, Tom held positions at Redsky Capital and JDS Development, where he contributed to notable projects including the American Copper Buildings, Stella Tower, 613 Baltic St, and Cube Wynwood.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning with a minor in Architecture from the University of Buffalo. Outside of his professional pursuits, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, golfing, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
